You may have seen Dallas Hodge when he was the front man for the legendary CANNED HEAT during their comeback era beginning in 2000. Dallas was with CANNED HEAT for six years and toured the United States and most of the European Union before departing at the end of 2005 to pursue his solo career. Dallas was featured on CANNED HEAT’s album entitled, “Friends In The Can”, released in 2003. Dallas composed several songs on the album.
“Dallas Hodge is a name that commands instantaneous stage presence. He’s the bastard son of a Detroit roadhouse; born in the throes of late-night blues bands and primed in the house that built R&B guitar. If a musical pedigree means anything toward a quality Album, then Dallas Hodge has the goods.” – James Sky Dobro Walker.
“Reelin” is a stellar record that features brilliantly solid originals and reworked classics.” – Brett Lemke of Maximumink
“If you get any better I’m gonna have to cut off both hands” – Johnny Winter
“You know when you do that head thing you do, it’s that Holy Ghost thing” – Billy Preston
